So special to walk through Venice's Doge Palace and St. Mark's after hours without the crowds. Nico's stories gave life and color while allowing us to consider these buildings' age-old histories in the quiet twilight of the evening.

Nico did an amazing job with our tour! He gave us so much information and happily answered all of our questions. You can tell he really loves his job. I would definitely take more tours guided by Nico! The after hours experience was absolutely the way to go. The mosaics shine so much brighter and having the absence of crowds made the experience so much better. I highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience. I am so glad we had this magical tour with Roberta who was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of San Marco. It wasn’t as ‘exclusively’ small a group as we imagined but even with three or four other groups in the church at the same time, it was quieter and more intimate a visit than if we’d gone in the daytime And Roberta’s excellent knowledge made all the difference. I’d recommend it

Iole led us on a fantastic evening. To see Doge’s palace and the St Marks church without crowds was awesome. And to add her excellent story telling and immense knowledge was incredible. Highly recommend.

Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?

Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Are there any breaks on this tour?
During this tour there is a short break (never more than one hour) in between visiting the Doge's Palace and entering St. Mark's Basilica.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 3 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
