The tour was quite short and it is expensive but it seems like the only chance to see the basilica without a huge number of other visitors. The guide, Elena, was excellent - enthusiastic, friendly and well informed.

Denise was an incredible tour guide. She did an amazing job of sharing the history and facts about St Mark’s Basilica and Doge’s Palace through storytelling. Absolutely loved going at night to avoid the crowds and heat. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a splurge, and worth every penny. I've been to St Mark's several times and was mostly booking for the experience of being inside without the crush of other people. And that was amazing, an entirely different experience of the basilica - but I also learned a ton! Our tour guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, there was so much I hadn't known. We brought kids aged 11 and 13, too, and they were 100% into it. It was incredible.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is photography allowed in St. Mark's Basilica?
No. Photography and videography is not permitted inside the Basilica.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 3 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
