Is this tour suitable for people with mobility challenges?

We would like to inform that starting from December 2, 2024, the two elevators located in the east wing of the Uffizi, near the main staircase, will be unavailable to the public due to maintenance work. The main staircase consists of 4 flights, totaling 126 steps. Guests who are unable to climb the stairs and require the elevator to access the main floor of the Gallery should proceed to the hall in front of the main staircase once inside the museum. There, museum staff will assist them in reaching the elevators located in the west wing.
Does the Uffizi provide a cloakroom?

Yes, the Uffizi Gallery provides a cloakroom where visitors can store large bags, backpacks, umbrellas which are not allowed inside. Please be aware that the cloakroom is located near the entrance of the Uffizi. After the tour, you will need to collect the items at the beginning of your visit.
