This is an excellent tour. Gives you a real insight into the aqueducts, catacombs and the appian way. The country drive was beautiful. Our tour guide Annamarie was very knowledgeable and happy to explain anything. To see the aqueducts in the countryside and learn how they work was great. The catacombs showed how people were buried and explained more of what is underground. And to walk the appian way and remember its history was brilliant. This tour covers everything and is amazing. You won’t regret it.

Excellent

We booked this tour whilst we were in Rome as so impressed with two other tours we took and were keen to experience the Appian Way and learn more about the Catacombs and Aqueducts. We really enjoyed it, was very interesting and great to go round in an air conditioned minibus as was very hot that afternoon. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and made it very interesting with his commentaries. Would recommend this tour and this tour company. Not the cheapest but absolutely the best!

Excellent

This was a wonderful tour! Our guide, Antonella, was really friendly and informative. You can tell she is passionate about the subject matter and knowledgeable. She made history come to life! It was awe inspiring to walk on the Appian Way where others have been walking for centuries and seeing the ingenuity of the aqueducts. This tour was a nice break from the city crowds. Be sure to bring rain gear in case, we did have rain on our tour but it did not ruin the tour one bit.
