We started to complete the climb to the dome when we realized Mass was about to start. We went to Mass. we tried to return to the climb but were not allowed as it was late and they were closing.

Our guide, Stephan, was exceptional! His knowledge of multicultural history really tied everything together and helped us understand the full history of Rome and the things we were seeing and experiencing. Our small group tour wound up being our 3 plus one other couple which made it feel very intimate. We really enjoyed this tour!
