Excellent

Touting another @walksdevour ? this one started at Big Ben & Parliament Square, took us on a lovely stroll through St. James Park, and brought us front and center to the changing of the guard. Afterward, we were guided on a deep dive tour of Westminster Abbey. Seeing the coronation chair firsthand and standing beside the tombs of monarchs was wild. But what really got me were all of the poets and scientists memorialized there. Fascinating and awe inspiring. Our tour guide was brilliant and so passionate about her work, we really felt like she was taking us behind the scenes to all of her personally favorite spots on the tour to really give us a specialized tour?

Excellent

Nigel was so entertaining. He we full of information. It was hot but he tried to be accommodating. We did not get to see the Changing of the Guard because of the heat. That was disappointing but we made the best of it. Nigel did a great job of walking us through Westminster Abbey. It so amazing.

Excellent

Nigel was very entertaining, funny and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we did not get to see the changing of the guards because it was canceled because it was too hot. That was very rare. Nigel was very considerate of the heat and tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible. Westminster Abbey was the best part. It was extremely impressive, and Nigel had great stories to tell about it. He helped us navigate the crowd so it could be the best experience possible. There were glitches with the microphone, but Nigel tried his best to correct the issue so we could hear everything. Overall, it was a great experience.

Excellent tour. Nick was super knowledgeable and also funny! He Involved many of the group in fun short related activities throughout the tour. The pace was great. The history of Westminster Abbey was perfectly adapted to the group. Thank you Nick!

Is this tour suitable for wheelchairs?

This tour is wheelchair accessible, but you must contact our Guest Experience team ([email protected]) in advance so we can arrange your visit.

Could there be any site closures or changes to itinerary?

Please be advised that Changing of the Guard can be cancelled last minute due to bad weather, and does not take place every day. On days this ceremony does not take place, guests will see the King's Life Guard Change, Horse Guards Parade. During inclement weather conditions, the Guard Change might not take place. We will only know this on the day of the visit. In these rare cases, you will still get a tour of the main sites, and will see the Horse Guard change. Plese also note that access to the panoramic viewpoint may be limited due to local events.
