Excellent
Witnessing the magnificent Closing of the Keys ceremony at the Tower of London was an experience not quickly forgotten. Our Beefeater, Tracy, was extremely personable, witty, and a fantastic story-teller. She created an environment that not only entertained but educated all those attending. Her thorough explanation of the history of the ceremony and what to expect was perfectly detailed. This is an experience I would recommend again and again.

Excellent
The Ceremony of the Keys was a memorable and unique experience. The female Yeoman Warder conducting the tour was exceptional, combining extensive historical knowledge with engaging storytelling. Experiencing this centuries-old tradition, which has been performed nightly for over 700 years, after the Tower had closed to the public created a remarkable atmosphere and provided a fascinating insight into one of Britain’s oldest ceremonial customs. Highly recommended. Simon

This was a tour I felt privileged to take part in. The Walks tour guide checked us in at 8:30 pm and immediately handed us over to a Yeoman warder who guided us around the Tower for an hour. It was a small group of 30 in a completely empty Tower so my photographs in the late May fading light are spectacular with not a single person cluttering up the picture. The Yeoman warder explained the ceremony we would witness and then it proceeded in silence with no photos of the ceremony. I had walked around the Tower in the morning on my own to view the Crown Jewels and in exhibits inside the buildings as this evening tour is outside only. The exclusivity made it worth the hefty price tag for me.

The atmosphere of Tower of London at night is so different than the day. It is almost magical. Everything about this tour was great. The explanation for the significance of the ceremony, the reverence asked and given by those in attendance and the accounts of historical events all made it a tour that I will remember for a long time.
