VIP Tower of London: After Hours Tour with Beefeater & Ceremony of the Keys

Witnessing the magnificent Closing of the Keys ceremony at the Tower of London was an experience not quickly forgotten. Our Beefeater, Tracy, was extremely personable, witty, and a fantastic story-teller. She created an environment that not only entertained but educated all those attending. Her thorough explanation of the history of the ceremony and what to expect was perfectly detailed. This is an experience I would recommend again and again.

The Ceremony of the Keys was a memorable and unique experience. The female Yeoman Warder conducting the tour was exceptional, combining extensive historical knowledge with engaging storytelling. Experiencing this centuries-old tradition, which has been performed nightly for over 700 years, after the Tower had closed to the public created a remarkable atmosphere and provided a fascinating insight into one of Britain’s oldest ceremonial customs.
