Rowland shared a wealth of information not only about the subjects of the tour but also about everything we passed along the way. He kept track of the time to be sure we could secure a good viewing place for the changing of the guard and arrive on time for our tour of Westminster Abbey. He kept track of the group and paused before crossing streets to give everyone a chance to catch up and cross together. We thought this was a fantastic tour, due in no small part to Rowland's upbeat attitude and engaging delivery of every tidbit he shared.

Is this tour suitable for wheelchairs?

The historic pubs on this tour include narrow entrances and stairs. Unfortunately, this tour is not suitable for wheelchairs. Please contact our Guest Experience team to discuss alternative tour options at [email protected].

Could there be any site closures or changes to itinerary?

Please be advised that Changing of the Guard can be cancelled last minute due to bad weather, and does not take place every day. On days this ceremony does not take place, guests will see the King's Life Guard Change, Horse Guards Parade. During inclement weather conditions, the Guard Change might not take place. We will only know this on the day of the visit. In these rare cases, you will still get a tour of the main sites, and will see the Horse Guard change. Plese also note that access to the panoramic viewpoint may be limited due to local events.
