We really enjoyed our tour with Shadow. It was advertised as a walking tour and there was a fair amount of walking, but our guide went at a good pace for the whole group and had time for rest spots and a break as needed. She did promise a delicious reward at the end and she was not wrong. The tea in the Orangery at Kensington Palace was worth the walk. Our group would highly recommend this tour

Danny gave a wonderful tour. Lots of information about royal history, the gardens, Hyde park, Kensington…complete with pit stops at the loo, cafe, and an afternoon tea at the orangery that was delicious.

Wonderful tour of Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, tea at the orangery, and changing of the guard. Great insight into history and background of the royals in London.

Philip was exceptionally well suited to serve as a tour master, as he has a background in studying and teaching history. He truly made our day special. He also has lived in London for decades-so he is an expert in many areas and answered all our questions.

Know before you book
Will the Changing of the Guard still take place in inclement weather?
The Changing of the Guard ceremony can sometimes be cancelled at very short notice, especially in wet weather. These decisions can be made as late as 10:45am on the day. The tour will still run with an alternative itinerary in the event that the Guard Change is cancelled.
