Amazing! Very knowledgeable guide, Chris, and although tickets were expensive, absolutely worth the price. To see the construction methods of the cupola from between the two domes was incredible. Amazing views, of course, and just brilliant to walk around the restricted sections. Highly recommended.

Great way to visit the Duomo! Small group, great guide, access without waiting in long lines. Really enjoyed the private visit to the terraces. Ours was the only group in the cathedral and we were there when they turned out the lights--that was pretty special. Those experiences alone were worth it. But there was more... the ticket gives you 72 hours to climb Giotto's tower, visit the Baptistery, the Crypt of Santa Reparata, and the Opera del Duomo museum. Great value! I recommend this tour and would do it again.

Know Before You Book

Is this tour accessible for wheelchair users or guests with mobility issues?

Due to conditions inside the Duomo (463 steps and fairly narrow passageways), wheelchair users, those with limited mobility, and anyone with claustrophobia unfortunately cannot be accommodated on this tour.

Are children able to take this tour?

Due to security reasons, children under 7 years of age aren't allowed to climb to the Terraces and are therefore unable to participate in this tour. Minors between the ages of 7-17 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.

What can I bring inside the Florence Cathedral?

Visitors to the Cathedral must use mandatory luggage storage (Piazza Duomo n. 38/r) to leave the following items before entry: suitcases, backpacks, and large or medium-sized bags.
