Excellent

The VIP after-hours climb up to the top of the Duomo was an excellent tour. Our guide was outstanding and ensured a pace that everyone could handle. The view from the top was spectacular. Afterward, we were able to spend about 20 minutes in the cathedral (with the daily crowds gone) until they locked the doors. I was the oldest in our group of about a dozen people at 69 yrs, and had no problem with the climb. My wife, a couple of years younger, got a bit winded but we had several breaks on the way up and she made it to the top with no problem. It was well worth it!

Is this tour accessible for wheelchair users or guests with mobility issues?

Due to conditions inside the Duomo (463 steps and fairly narrow passageways), wheelchair users, those with limited mobility, and anyone with claustrophobia unfortunately cannot be accommodated on this tour.

Are children able to take this tour?

Due to security reasons, children under 7 years of age aren't allowed to climb to the Terraces and are therefore unable to participate in this tour. Minors between the ages of 7-17 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.
