Looking for great sushi in Barcelona? We’ve tried all the sushi, sashimi and nigiri from here to Madrid so read on for our top picks for sushi restaurants in Barcelona.
Ikibana Sushi Bar
Though Ikibana is newer to the crowd, the place is already in the top ranks of the ever-growing sushi scene in Barcelona. Top-notch ingredients creatively and artfully prepared to make dining here a real treat, especially given the very reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is based on Brazilian and japonese fusion which makes all of their dishes deliciously unique! With now three locations to choose from, you’ll be able to decide which one is next over lunch or dinner for days. Our favorite is the Born, perfect for pre or post-dinner wanders, and cava of course!

Shunka
Shunka, a traditional Japanese restaurant in the Gothic Quarter, may not be quite as showy as Koy Shunka, its big, upscale sister down the street, but the tastes are just as good. Everything on the menu is prepared with excellent care, from the sticky sushi rice to the tender and flavorful tofu. We just love this place. They have even opened up a third location called Kak Koy, also in the Gothic which is super popular amongst locals and tourists alike!
Address: Carrer Sagristans, 5
Wasabi
Three words will suffice: spicy tuna roll. There’s a reason people wait hours for a table at Wasabi, and that reason is spicy tuna roll – this authentic Japanese restaurant in the Gracia neighborhood knows how to make a mean spicy tuna roll. That, and because it’s one of the best sushi restaurants in Barcelona.

Double Zer00
Modern and unique, this spot is the perfect place for dinner after a long day exploring the city. From outside appearance, this may seem like just another sushi restaurant, but in all reality, Double Zer00 stands out for their great variety of creative dishes using local products. They are a local business with real heart and all of their dishes are made to order. Don’t fancy staying? Why not grab a takeaway and have a picnic in the park. Try the gyozas de pollo—absolutely delicious!
