Excellent tour of Venice on August 22, 2026 with an expert guide who was born and raised there. My kids (16 & 13) and I really enjoyed learning about the town history and current state of operation.
Such a comprehensive view of a beautiful place. Would highly recommend!

The tour was excellent. Philipo was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of Venice. And he took us to some spots that were not on the tour that were very interesting. The highlight was the gondola ride.
I would definitely recommend this tour in Venice.

The guide was amazing! She shared a lot about the sites, but also a lot of local knowledge and history too which was a great touch. We only had one other person in our little tour group so it felt very intimate and tailored! I am embarrassed that I cannot remember the guide’s name but it began with an I! Would return just for her, a real local Venetian.

Could sites close on this tour?
Due to circumstances beyond our control, sites may occasionally close. We make every effort to stay as close to the advertised itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Does this tour always visit the Rialto Market?
The Rialto Fish Market is closed on Sundays. If you take the tour on a Sunday we will still visit Rialto but you won't see as much activity around the market.
Can I bring a bag with me?
Large bags, trolleys and backpacks cannot be accommodated on this tour.
Is proof of identity (ID) required for this tour?
Yes! Please ensure that all members of your party, including children, have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
