Absolutely fantastic tour with Fillipe (apologies on spelling if incorrect) today around the Hidden Passages, prisons and main chambers of the Doge’s Palace plus St Mark’s Basilica. Funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable, he took the time to answer a wide range of questions and covered a broad range of time periods in the buildings’ histories. All fascinating and giving a level of detail and context to architecture, art and the political structures you would not get without a tour. You do need a good general level of fitness and mobility for the stairs and passages and this is stated very clearly in the description of the tour. Cannot rate this highly enough as a fab way to see these two sites!

Can I bring children on the Secret Itineraries Tour?
Children under the age of 6 are not allowed to visit the Secret Itineraries of the Doges palace, so unfortunately they cannot take this tour.
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?

Is proof of identity (ID) required for this tour?
Yes! Please ensure that all members of your party, including children, have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit.
What do I need to book this tour?
You must provide the following details for every guest in your party at the time of booking: first and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the monument. Name changes are not permitted.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
