Our tour of Venice with your company was amazing. We did a tour of the vegetable market the fish market, Rialto Bridge area, St. Mark's Basilica, Doges Palace. It was an almost 6 hour tour. Our guide was very friendly and personable. Her name was Ellenana (or something like that) She knew the city well, She recommended a very good restaurant - Rossapomomo that we ate at twice. Excellent pizza! The tour was a highlight of our trip to Venice. We also used your company for a Food tour in Venice and a food tour in Rome. Each tour and tour guide was amazing.

While the See Venice in a Day Tour is a long six hours, it is managed efficiently and provides good breaks. I left this tour with a good appreciation of the sites visited that I probably would not have gleaned by visiting on my own. I really felt that it hit all the important parts of the city and left me satisfied that I had seen Venice. This opened the rest of my time to just explore outside the main tourist areas with the other day and a half of time that I had. While I can't speak for all the tour guides, we had an excellent guide that was a local that felt invested in the history of the city which adds a lot of meaningful flavor to the tour. We felt that the tour was definitely worth the investment of time and cost.

Guide had excellent knowledge/experience. The places we visited were PRIME. In retrospect, I would recommend a cooler time of year ... April vs. June.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 3 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
