Mateo was a wonderful guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and shared the knowledge with us in a funny way keeping the whole experience extremely engaging. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent
It was a great experience with Mateo! It was just my boyfriend, myself, and him. It felt more private and awesome! We enjoyed getting to see parts of the city we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. It was also cool to have a break in between and go on the gondola and see the city another way other than via our feet. Mateo is super informed about everything and made sure we got all the information we needed. Would recommend to all of our friends heading into Venice!

The place you have to visit when in Venice. The buildings are beautiful however there isn't enough information to guide you about.<br />Access to St Marks cathedral is particularly difficult as payment is only accepted via the app which isn't easy & lots of visitors were getting frustrated.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.

This experience is refundable up to 7 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
