Michele was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to be around. He brought Venice to life with a great mix of history, legends, and little details you’d never notice on your own, and he was also very attentive to questions. The pace felt smooth and well-organized, and he kept the group engaged the whole time with a great sense of humor and positive energy.
If you want a tour that’s informative but never boring, this is it. I’d happily join another tour with Michele in the future!

Michael brought the Doge Palace, the church, the different neighborhoods, and the history of Venice overall to life. There were funny historical nuggets and thoughtful planning of the itinerary with snack/ restroom and lunch breaks. The gondola ride was a nice bonus.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.

This experience is refundable up to 7 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
