There’s a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes .. there are many stairs on the Doges palace but beautiful architecture and paintings so it’s worth seeing it

First of all we almost missed our tour because of a mishap with the waterbus, but when we got to the church, the group was still there! Matteo was an amazing tour guide, he is extremely knowledgeable and very funny, someone you could have dinner and drinks with afterwards! I personally enjoyed and appreciated his knowledge on the history of the church and story of Christianity. This tour was definitely worth the money and is a must when visiting Venice!

Valentina S. Was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. She was able to make the walls come alive with the history of Venice. Valentina S. Provided a fun tour and highly recommend to see and learn about Venice from her. The gondola ride was enjoyable of course as well. Fun day followed by an awesome recommendation for lunch!!

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.

This experience is refundable up to 7 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
