Aprendí mucho sobre la historia de Venecia y sobre el arte de los lugares que visitamos. Marie fue fantástica y no nos dio el típico tour ensayado, sino uno reflexivo y matizado. Era muy conocedora sobre el arte y las influencias históricas, como mencioné, y esa fue mi parte favorita. Como veneciana no nativa que ha vivido en la zona durante décadas, pudo anticipar lo que podría resultar confuso con influencias culturales que podrían necesitar más explicación. Disfruté mucho y me voy de Venecia con una comprensión mucho mejor de su influencia en el mundo y su historia.

¡Alessandro fue maravilloso! Tenía un entusiasmo por Venecia que se contagió al grupo. Vivió en Venecia durante 30 años y tiene un título en historia, así que compartió conocimientos históricos y locales a lo largo del tour. Respondió a cada pregunta que se le hizo y dio grandes recomendaciones para la auténtica comida veneciana. De los 8 tours que hicimos, este fue mi favorito. Valió bien la pena el dinero.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, this tour route is not fully wheelchair accessible. However, an alternate route can be arranged to accommodate guests in wheelchairs. Please contact our Guest Experience Team to discuss arranging a private tour that meets your accessibility needs.
Will the tour still run as normal in the event of high tide?
