12-person tour, just the right size. Our guide Giulia is a native of Testaccio and had a deep knowledge of Testaccio & Roman food and culture. Wonderful food stops beginning with an Italian breakfast in a legendary pastry shop, tastings in the Testaccio market, a visit to a restaurant in business since the 19th century built over an ancient wine storeroom, and authentic gelato at a local favorite. The food was spectacular and the people even more so. We could not recommend this tour more highly. Go at the beginning of your visit to Rome and reap the rewards the rest of your visit.
