It was so wonderful to see the non touristy part of Rome. The market was fun to go through and observe people going about their daily business. Our last meal was rigatoni pasta and wine in a restaurant that had been in the family for generations. We even got a tour of the wine cellar. The gelato, at a different location, served by a 91 year old woman( who definitely did not look that age) was the best ever! Especially as a solo, older woman traveler; I recommend!
