The Rome in a Day tour was fabulous and made even more special by our exceptional guide Sev whose knowledge and delivery of facts was amazing and the 8 hour tour passed by in a flash. If you only have one day in Rome do this tour and you will learn more about the major sights than any guidebook could offer. We enjoyed it immensely and three days later are still talking about it

This tour is a long day of walking, but that is not an issue for our family. We enjoy that. I don't mean that as any complaint, I just wanted to make sure if you are not big on walking it will be quite a long day for you. You literally do see quite a bit of "Rome in a Day" on this tour. Our guide Manuela (?spelling?) was fantastic! She is so energetic and knowledgeable about the city and its history, she made the tour so fun and informative. To quote her "Let's go!!"

This tour was great! Probably the best of all the ones we did. I would highly recommend doing this your first full day in Rome so you can get the lay of the land and have time to revisit anything. Maria Laura was the best guide, answered all our questions, and was humorous along the way. Just note that you do not go inside the Pantheon and do not hit St. Peter's Basilica/Square. Definitely something you want to consider and add-in to your itinerary while in Rome. Again, highly recommend!
