Rome in a Day Tour with Vatican, Colosseum & Historic Center

This tour is a long day of walking, but that is not an issue for our family. We enjoy that. I don't mean that as any complaint, I just wanted to make sure if you are not big on walking it will be quite a long day for you. You literally do see quite a bit of "Rome in a Day" on this tour. Our guide Manuela (?spelling?) was fantastic! She is so energetic and knowledgeable about the city and its history, she made the tour so fun and informative. To quote her "Let's go!!"

This tour was great! Probably the best of all the ones we did. I would highly recommend doing this your first full day in Rome so you can get the lay of the land and have time to revisit anything. Maria Laura was the best guide, answered all our questions, and was humorous along the way. Just note that you do not go inside the Pantheon and do not hit St. Peter's Basilica/Square. Definitely something you want to consider and add-in to your itinerary while in Rome. Again, highly recommend!

Good value, expert tour guide, the day was packed with sites and the pacing was good. A tiring but enormously satisfying day!

We really enjoyed the Rome in a Day Tour. Even though we had already visited a few of the sites the day previously, the tour was fantastic and we learned so many new and interesting things we wouldn't have learned on our own. Our tour guide, Fabrizio, was amazing!!! He was so knowledgeable, and even though the tour lasted almost 8 hours, he didn't stop talking and was an absolute fountain of knowledge about all the historical sites! Especially valuable were the detailed descriptions of the Colosseum, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, we learned so many interesting things that we couldn't possibly ever have learned on our own. Although we were very tired at the end of our walking your, we have made memories that we will never forget!
