This was a fantastic tour led by an unbelievable knowledgeable individual. He is an art historian who also gives tours so you can imagine how much he knows. The tour was 8 hours but we could have gone longer as we were in information overload! This was a good thing. Would recommend this tour!

Wow! What a fantastic start to our week in Rome. We booked this tour as an introduction to the sites and we are so glad that we did. We saw so much in the first day that we had a really good stepping stone onto other things for the rest of the week (Including a pasta making class and Appian Way & Catacombs tour that we booked while we were there as so impressed with this tour company). Francesco, our guide, was absolutely fabulous, he knows how to do a tour! Great pace, great level of information, great amount of time at each place - he made it perfect. It is a long day but it is planned extremely well to be in places when the crowds are less. Would recommend this tour to any visitor to Rome, as long as you are reasonably fit as there is lots of walking, although a minibus takes you over the river to The Vatican where the tour finishes.

Our tour guide Fredricka, from Walks of Italy, was AWESOME. We were fortunate because we were the only ones who signed up for the tour. This was an added bonus because although it was a full day of walking, it was personalized. Which allowed a lot of flexibility in what we were able to see or skip. She kept the tour informative and fun with her upbeat personality. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.
