What makes this different from other Rome walking tours?
Most Rome walking tours move in groups of twenty or more, on a schedule built for everyone but you. This one is private: a guide who adjusts the pace, the depth, and the focus to your own curiosity, with skip-the-line entry to the Pantheon and Vicus Caprarius built in.
Is this a good tour for first-time visitors to Rome?
Yes. This tour is designed as an introduction to the city, covering essential sites while helping you get oriented early in your stay. Many guests book it on day one so they feel more confident exploring on their own afterward.
Is this a good tour for families with kids?
Yes. Private tours work well for families, since your guide can tailor the explanations to different ages, keep the pace engaging for kids, and adjust timing as needed.
How many people are on the tour?
Groups run up to 6 guests, with a private guide throughout.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a valid government-issued ID or passport for every guest, including children, required for entry. Full legal names must be provided at booking and match your ID exactly, since name changes aren't permitted afterward.
Is there a dress code for the Pantheon?
Yes. The Pantheon requires shoulders and the tops of your legs covered. On a hot day, a scarf or light layer to tie around your waist works fine.
How much walking is involved?
This is a walking tour at a moderate pace. Guests should be comfortable walking and standing for the full route without difficulty.
Can guests with mobility needs join this tour?
Yes. If you have limited mobility or use a wheelchair, contact us at [email protected] before your tour so we can adapt the route in advance.
Where do we meet?
The tour meets at Piazza Navona, 14, in front of the Embassy of Brazil building, under the Brazilian flag. Your guide will be holding a yellow Walks sign. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
What's the cancellation policy?
Private tours can be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the tour date.
