Closing Time at the Louvre: The Mona Lisa at Her Most Peaceful

We did the Closing Time at the Louvre on 11/06/2025, and our guide was amazing! She got through a large portion of the museum, and made a lot of the art work relatable.

I left a review on Google reviews, but I'll review here as well. My family and I enjoyed our tour of the Louvre at night with Bellen (Bel). She really brought the art to life for us. For the largest museum in the world, I think this was a great option. It is so large you have to really set an amount of time that you want to spend in there and try to see what you can. So we did just that with Bel. We saw so many famous art and artifacts. In 2019 I booked three tours with Walks of Italy and really enjoyed them, so I was happy to see that they also offer tours in Paris. This was the one tour we did in Paris and it was well worth it.

Violet was fantastic, it show that she really loves what she does . I have taken many tours before she was by far the more the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide that I have ever had. She is the reason I will come back to the Lourve and take another tour with her !!!!

Amelie expertly directed the Closing of the Louvre tour. She was friendly and gracious and well-spoken on the history of the building and the works of art, clearly passionate for the subject matter. Amelie proved a kind and welcoming host. I would definitely recommend this tour as a good way to see the Louvre. The ~3 hour length was sufficient and covered alot of ground (tho surely not all!). I would do another tour with Walks.
