Our tour guide, Ms. Sarah, offered an outstanding experience during my visit La Louvre museum. She is a world and French, in particular, art and history expert, the lecture was fascinating with details and illustrations telling the tourists about each piece we saw. Her English was fluent, native-like, the devices worked well, so we had no problem following the presentation. Thank you for the pleasant and educational tour with Ms. Sarah!

Our tickets through Viator said 10:30am, but no one was there to meet us & when I called the tour company on the ticket, I was told the start time had moved to 12:00. Very stressful when we thought we couldn’t find our guide, but once we came back at the new time, all was okay. Our guide, Daniel was very funny and showed us the highlights of the museum very well, although the joke about St. Francis & Jesus was NOT appropriate- maybe he didn’t know that would be offensive to Christians, but I’d leave that one out next time.

Disappointed that it was advertised we would see the Crown Jewels that was part of the advertisement for the tour but it wasn’t included as told the Crown Jewels had been stolen prior to us booking the tour. This is false advertising. Also took an hour of the 2 hour tour just to get into the museum. It felt very rushed. Should have let people know that they would need more time to see the rest of the museum. The tour was only of 3 highlights - 2 statues and 1 painting. What we saw was very good and the guide was very knowledgeable.

The Louvre Museum permits photos and videos (without flash) in the permanent collections as long as they for personal use. Using selfie sticks or lighting is not allowed.
