Lee was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the exhibits and gave information that we would not have thought about or learned visiting the museum on our own.

Violette was fantastic. I’ve done the Louvre highlights tour several times, and she made it feel completely new. She is a deeply knowledgeable art historian and an amazing storyteller, and she explained the art in a way that made me feel like I was learning it all for the first time. She also pointed out pieces I had overlooked on past visits and tied everything together brilliantly, connecting the architecture of the Louvre with the chronology of the artworks. One of the best museum tours I’ve ever taken.

Viollette speaks clearly so use of ear piece works well. She took sufficient time to orientate the group so we knew what to expect. Clear example was to wait for closing to see Mona Lisa as no large groups would be present. Absolutely correct. She certainly knew her art pieces and added to our knowledge with questions of us.
All in all a great tour guide and someone we would ask for again.

Hugo was fantastic! He shared great insights on the art we saw and was able to weave together a memorable story connecting all the pieces we saw. I highly recommend a tour with him - it was well worth the cost and made the visit much more memorable.

My wife and I agreed that Adam was likely the best tour guide we have ever had, and we've had quite a number of guides for all kinds of activities over the years.

From the beginning, Adam was welcoming and friendly and made a point to remember everyone's names in our group. He used to work at the Louve in a technical area and his vast knowledge of the museum, its history, and the artwork within it was incredible. However more than that he tried hard to make sure we would leave with some knowledge that we could take with us for the future, and delivered all of the information in an engaging and humorous way. He also knew how to navigate the museum to make sure that we were able to get a good look at the artwork despite the crowds, and to ensure that we saw sculptures from the correct positions to appreciate them and understand what was special about them. It was so interesting, I started taking notes so I could try to remember it all!

We spent the most time looking at the Venus de Milos, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Mona Lisa, but Adam worked in time for a number of other paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and other pieces that have been pivotal for French history.

I don't know if it's possible but if you can try to request Adam when you book your tour, I recommend you try! You won't be disappointed! Go Team Adam!
