My wife and I agreed that Adam was likely the best tour guide we have ever had, and we've had quite a number of guides for all kinds of activities over the years.

From the beginning, Adam was welcoming and friendly and made a point to remember everyone's names in our group. He used to work at the Louve in a technical area and his vast knowledge of the museum, its history, and the artwork within it was incredible. However more than that he tried hard to make sure we would leave with some knowledge that we could take with us for the future, and delivered all of the information in an engaging and humorous way. He also knew how to navigate the museum to make sure that we were able to get a good look at the artwork despite the crowds, and to ensure that we saw sculptures from the correct positions to appreciate them and understand what was special about them. It was so interesting, I started taking notes so I could try to remember it all!

We spent the most time looking at the Venus de Milos, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Mona Lisa, but Adam worked in time for a number of other paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and other pieces that have been pivotal for French history.

I don't know if it's possible but if you can try to request Adam when you book your tour, I recommend you try! You won't be disappointed! Go Team Adam!
