Know before you book

What makes this different from other Niagara Falls boat tours?
Most Niagara Falls boat tours leave you to figure out the ticket line and the walk to the docks on your own. This one adds a local guide who handles both, plus stories about the falls' history and daredevils along the way, all in 90 minutes.
Is this a good Niagara Falls tour and boat ride if I only have half a day?
It's built for exactly that. This tour is designed to fit into a half-day, so you can experience the region's top attraction and still have the afternoon free.
How many people are on the tour?
We keep groups small (max 10) for an intimate experience—more like a night out with friends than a formal tour.
Is this a good tour for families with young kids?
Yes. This tour works well for kids ages 3 and up, and the short length makes it easier for younger children than a half-day tour. As a highlights tour built for short attention spans and shorter schedules, it's a common fit for families with young kids who want the big moment without a half-day commitment.
Where do we meet, and where does the tour end?
The tour meets at 6075 Niagara River Parkway, in the garden across from the main steps. Look for your guide in a yellow vest holding a yellow Walks sign. The tour ends nearby at Niagara Parkway, 5920 Niagara River Parkway.
Do I need a passport?
If you're arriving from the US, yes, you'll need a passport to cross into Canada.
What happens if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine, entirely outdoors. Ponchos are provided for the boat ride, and you should expect to get wet either way, mist is part of the experience.
Is there a lot of walking?
Yes, this is a Paris walking tour, covering around four to five kilometers over four hours, plus a couple of short Metro rides between sites. The pace is moderate, but plan for a full day on your feet.
Can guests with mobility needs join this tour?
This tour includes some walking and a boat boarding process, so it isn't currently suitable for guests with mobility impairments or wheelchairs. Hearing aids work fine with the live guide audio, and we're happy to talk through details before you book.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes are a must—we’ll be walking and standing throughout the experience. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, a camera, and an appetite.
Is a private version of this tour available?
Not at the moment. If a private version would work better for your group, let us know and we'll pass that along to our product team.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuities aren't included in the price, though they're appreciated if your guide made the evening a little easier.
