I booked multiple tours through Viator while in the NYC and Peru. and had good experiences with them. I cancelled once and get the refund right away, never had a problem. Our tour guide Mindy is nice and I learned alout about statue of liberty tour.I am planning to use them again for a trip this fall.

Be prepared for security check and loading of boats is nothing short of chaos. No lines. it's a huge amount of people waiting and then all hording at once. when you get to the statue it's absolutely breathtaking. plenty of good photo ops.

Our tour guide Dan was very interactive . But the tour would be better if it includes the tour inside the Statue of Liberty .

What can I expect at the security checkpoint for my Statue of Liberty tour?
All guests must pass through airport-style security to go to the Statue of Liberty. Certain items are not permitted including any weapons, scissors, pocket knives, any sharp item, or tools. Large items such as suitcases and backpacks are not allowed. Food and drink are not permitted except water in a clear container.

Does this tour include access to the Statue Crown?
No. Unfortunately, tickets for the Statue of Liberty Crown are extremely limited, at only 365 per day, and sell out months in advance. Walks does not provide any tours that include the Statue of Liberty Crown.
Can I bring a backpack on my Statue of Liberty tour?
At Liberty Island handbags and backpacks must be stored in a locker. Lockers are $2.00.
