It was a cold and windy day, but Sara kept her warm, humerous, and highly knowledgeable self available for us. She was very informative and a great guide giving us tips on how to find her after we independently toured the grounds and also on the boat prior to landing.

What can I expect at the security checkpoint for my Statue of Liberty tour?
All guests must pass through airport-style security to go to the Statue of Liberty. Certain items are not permitted including any weapons, scissors, pocket knives, any sharp item, or tools. Large items such as suitcases and backpacks are not allowed. Food and drink are not permitted except water in a clear container.

Does this tour include access to the Statue Crown?
No. Unfortunately, tickets for the Statue of Liberty Crown are extremely limited, at only 365 per day, and sell out months in advance. Walks does not provide any tours that include the Statue of Liberty Crown.
Can I bring a backpack on my Statue of Liberty tour?
At Liberty Island handbags and backpacks must be stored in a locker. Lockers are $2.00.
