Fully Guided Statue of Liberty Tour with Ellis Island

I would like to bring your attention to Sara Lyons. Sara is a tour guide for WALKS and is arguably the best tour guide we have ever had the pleasure to be with. Sara is truly the most passionate, articulate, funny, well-informed, compassionate, generous and delicious guide we have ever spent a day with. She took us with great energy and delight to Liberty and Elis Islands. We thought we knew a lot already – but she shared information we’d never heard and did it with such personal enthusiasm and delight – she was simply contagious. I think more now of the frailty of and urgency for supporting our constitution. I know more about the building of the Statue of Liberty. I feel more about the journey of immigrants (then and now). I appreciate so much more about the City of New York and its citizens (then and now). She is truly the best, most eyes-wide-open advocate for life in New York City. She can mesmerize a crowd and get them to believe in the civic power of each citizen, in the astonishing possibilities of a true democracy and in the absolute wonder of the City of New York . We recommend any tour she leads.
