Our Madrid Tapas, Taverns & History Tour was lovely! Mariano expertly toured us through the very crowded streets of Madrid in December. Despite the crowds, we were greeted warmly at each stop, with ample room to enjoy the amazing tapas. Each stop was also able to accommodate the vegetarians in our group with equally delicious replacements. Not only was Mariano an excellent tour guide, sharing history and food facts both about the lore of Madrid’s beginnings and also the current restauranteurs, but he also recommended to us El Abuelo, an amazing restaurant for garlic shrimp, and La Bar Gloria, a tapas restaurant slightly outside the hustle and bustle of the main streets of Madrid for local and authentic Spanish tapas. We tried (and loved) both of these recommendations just as much as everything on the tour! I highly recommend a Devour tour with Mariano. It is an excellent way to try authentic Spanish tapas and learn a little more about the city.

great tour of Madrid with Daniel! He's so engaged, energetic, and enthusiastic about Madrid and food. We booked on the day of our arrival and it ended up being a great way to keep moving and touring on our first day. Also great to be able to eat during the tour rather than eating at a restaurant our first night. I highly recommend touring with Daniel as he mad the tour so interesting and fun.

I loved our Tapas dining tour. The tour was informative historically, culturally and gastronomically. We dined with locals and got to experience the Madrid eating scene like a local. Our Madrid friends were impressed by the selections and eager to try one they had only heard of. Our guide Taylor was wonderful. One of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of following. The Devour recommendations at the end of the tour were excellent. I will definitely book another Devour tour in the future.

Great

Our Madrid tour was wonderful! The sites were great, the history was great and the food was delicious. However, our tour guide, Cassie was the best part! Her knowledge, passion and charisma make her perfect for this job. She's smart, funny and an excellent communicator. She took time to get to chat with each of us and make us all feel welcome and included. We will definitely take Devour tours again!
