Our tour guide, Arantxa, was incredibly knowledgeable. She is full of life and charm, and had a number of excellent stories, including some delicious gossip to share. The food was lovely, but most importantly we got to see the City through her eyes.

We had a wonderful tour with Sam from Devour tours. The tapas we tasted were all delicious and included a croqueta, grilled garlic shrimp in sherry, grilled oxtail in puff pastry and jamon. We had cider and wine as well as vermouth at every stop. Great taverns were chosen with lots of character. Sam was delightful and incredibly knowledgeable. Really fun!

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
What drinks are included?
Each stop includes a traditional drink—like vermouth on tap, crisp ciders, and quality Spanish wines. If you don’t drink alcohol, no worries—there are non-alcoholic options available at every stop.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes, but it’s a gentle stroll with plenty of breaks. Along the way, you’ll explore Madrid’s historic center, including the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and hidden streets in the Habsburg Quarter.
