Is this a walking food tour?

Yes, we stroll through two central neighborhoods at a relaxed pace (about 2 km total), with plenty of food breaks and seating.
How much food is included?

A full lunch at the Rioja Alavesa winery on Day 1, plus the full *pintxos* tour in San Sebastian that evening (multiple stops, multiple bars — enough for dinner and then some). Breakfast at the hotel on Day 2. Lunch in Getaria on Day 2 is on your own, so you can choose your own spot. Your guide will have suggestions — this is a fishing village, so we recommend going with the fish!
Do morning and evening tours differ?

Morning tours start with churros and hot chocolate; evening tours begin with tapas and beer. Everything else is the same.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate vegetarians and guests who prefer non-caffeinated drinks. Unfortunately, due to the nature of French pastries, this tour is not ideal for gluten- or dairy-free diets.
Do we visit a real market?

Yes—an authentic neighborhood market where you’ll taste local staples and meet vendors we’ve worked with for years.
What neighborhoods do we explore?

You’ll visit Madrid’s Literary Quarter (Barrio de las Letras) and the historic center—both rich with culture, charm, and local flavor.
What makes this Madrid food tour different?

This is the original. Created in 2012, it’s built on real relationships—not just restaurant partnerships. You’ll eat with locals, at places we’ve trusted for generations—and walk away with a deeper connection to Madrid.
