After a guided visit to our favorite neighborhood market, your small group will head into a stunning private cooking space reserved just for us at one of the city’s most picturesque restaurants. Enjoy an aperitif back in the kitchen as you start to prepare your meal. During your cooking class in Madrid, you’ll work alongside an expert local guide and chef to prepare a delicious homemade lunch including paella, two tapas, and dessert.
Meet your guide in the bustling neighborhood of Huertas in the city center. They'll give you an introduction to the neighborhood and what to expect for the day as Madrid residents go about their daily lives all around you.
From there, we’ll walk around the corner to a historic municipal market and rub elbows with neighborhood residents buying ingredients for the day’s lunch. We’ll visit a few of our favorite stalls, where you’ll learn about the role that each product plays in Span...
