This tour was fabulous. Our guide Nika was excellent, very knowledgeable, she covered a heap of history on Barcelona, tapas and wine. She described what each tapas were and where the wine came from. The food and little tapas bars that she took us to were very genuine, down back alleys that we would never have found on our own and the tapas and wine were delicious.
Highly recommend this tour. Thanks Nika 👏👏

My sisters and I took this tour during a trip to Barcelona. Eric, our tour guide, was terrific. We learned about the history of Barcelona as well as its customs and food. We ate in 3 places, one more charming and authentic than the next. The tour was well timed and we ate and drank well. Highly recommend!

Is this tour accessible for people with mobility issues?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers.

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
How much walking is involved?
The route covers approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) through the Gothic Quarter at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to rest and eat between stops.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
No problem! We offer non-alcoholic options at every stop. Just let us know when booking or tell your guide at the start of the tour.
