Excellent
This food tour and our guide Jordi immerse us in the history, geography, culinary delights, and culture during this three hour in depth, food experience. It was among our favorite Tours, we have taken with this company, and we have taken many, although on the “Walks” side. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Geordie as a guide and this tour as an introduction to Barcelona.

Yesterday, my partner and I enjoyed a wonderful culinary tour in Barcelona. Our guide Alexandra (Alex) was absolutely amazing. She spoke clear and fluent English, provided detailed and passionate explanations, and took us to fascinating places we likely wouldn't have discovered on our own. She ensured that each person in our small group of seven felt respected and cared for. We highly recommend this experience—it completely transforms your vacation. We suggest doing something similar in any major city you visit.

This was such a fun tour! Mick was a great and knowledgeable guide, and the massive variety of stops, including a few that opened specifically for the tour, gave us a fantastic experience without the crowds that large tourist centers can see. Cannot recommend highly enough, and I will definitely check to see if Devour tours are available at my future travel destinations.

Benadetta was amazing. Knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. She made us all feel at home in a foreign city. And she was great with the child in our group.

What neighborhoods does the tour visit?
This tour explores El Born and Barceloneta—two of Barcelona’s most historic and atmospheric areas. Expect cobblestone streets, local markets, and seaside charm.
Is this tour suitable for kids?
Yes! Families are welcome, and the tour includes tastes and stories kids often love. Please let us know in advance about any dietary needs or preferences.
What makes this different from other food tours in Barcelona?
We don’t just feed you—we connect you. With over a decade of experience and deep local ties, we take you into real neighborhood bars, market stalls, and family-run spots tourists rarely find. It’s culture through food, done right.
Is it enough food for a meal?
More than enough—it covers both breakfast and lunch, with 13+ tastings. Come hungry!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate most needs with advance notice. Let us know when booking so we can plan ahead.
How much walking is involved?
The route covers approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) through the Gothic Quarter at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to rest and eat between stops.
Is alcohol included?
Yes! You’ll enjoy cava, vermouth, and wine along the way. Non-alcoholic alternatives are always available—just ask your guide.
Do you visit La Boqueria Market?
Nope. We take you to Santa Caterina, where real locals shop—and where we’ve built relationships with the vendors over years.
Will I be in a large group?
Never. This tour is capped at just 9 guests, keeping it personal, flexible, and full of connection.
