This tour was wonderful!! Our guide, Feliciano was fun and knew so much about the history of the city. Great bites and wine at 3 separate spots along the way. Time went by quickly between stops and ended with a sweet bite.<br /><br />Food was very local “mom and pop” shops, not particularly fancy, but delicious freshly prepared and well explained. Great exposure to Spanish staples and local ingredients. I highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing! Feliciano was incredible. Very friendly, informative and passionate. He was very engaging and I can't thank him enough for his tour! The food was amazing and the taverns were full of history and warm and inviting. I am so thankful I did this tour and would strongly recommend to everyone going through Barcelona!

Alexandra was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about history and culture. The tour had a great mix of walking and plenty of delicious local tapas. We went with our teenagers who also thoroughly enjoyed the experience

We had a great time with Jordi on this tapas tour in the gothic quarter. It was a great balance of history, food, and fun. I like that the tapas choices were a combination of traditional and then some other unique options. I highly recommend this tour.

Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers.

How much food and drink is included?
Plenty! You’ll enjoy 10+ traditional tapas and 5 drinks (including vermouth, cava, and regional wines) across three family-run stops. It’s a full dinner, Barcelona-style. Come hungry.
What kind of tapas will I try?
The lineup varies with the seasons and availability, but expect a mix of Catalan and Spanish staples—things like *butifarra* sausage, crema catalana, fried fish, croquettes, and more. Every dish is carefully chosen to reflect local traditions and flavors.
How much walking is involved?
The route covers approximately 1.5 km (1 mile) through the Gothic Quarter at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to rest and eat between stops.
What if I don’t drink alcohol?
No problem! We offer non-alcoholic options at every stop. Just let us know when booking or tell your guide at the start of the tour.

We run rain or shine, so bring an umbrella if the forecast looks wet. Most of the tour is indoors or under cover, and the food will keep you warm either way.
