Q. What inspired you to become a guide?
Working as guide leading food tours gives me the opportunity to be always be around food, which as I chef I love, but with the chance to share my knowledge for the food with people just as passionate as me.
Q. What do you love most about Rome?
Rome is the Eternal City. Every thing in this city is beautiful! The monuments, the sky, the people, the sunsets, the atmosphere! Even the air that you BREATH. Nothing in the world is like Rome.
Q. What's your favorite story to tell on tour?
I love telling Marcello's story on our Trastevere tour. He's the owner of one of the bar's we visit, and it's a very famous one in Trastevere. The story of Marcello gives you the idea of how someone wanted share his joy with all the people that pass through his bar.

Q: What do you tell your visiting friends to see in Rome?
Explore Trastevere for its charming streets and vibrant atmosphere. Don’t miss the Giardino degli Aranci for incredible views, and of course, the classics like the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. The Fontanone is a hidden gem for a quieter moment with amazing scenery.
Q: What about the culture in Rome should people not miss?
Take an evening stroll through the city at sunset. The light is magical, and the city feels alive. End your day with an al fresco dinner in Trastevere or Testaccio to dine like a real Roman.
Q: What are some unmissable foods and drinks?
Start with Rome’s iconic pasta dishes—carbonara, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana. Don’t skip trippa alla romana or coda alla vaccinara for something truly authentic. For a lighter bite, try pizza romana.
