Q. What inspired you to become a guide?
I’ve always been fascinated by history and how it shapes our cultures and the world around us. I especially love exploring Spain’s culture, and that of my city. If I could, I’d try a different restaurant every day just to taste new dishes and wines!
Q. What do you love most about Madrid?
Madrid offers endless experiences. From world-class museums and art exhibits to fantastic restaurants and outdoor activities, there's always something exciting happening.
Q. Tell us about a memorable moment from one of your tours.
I’ll never forget the day I met a traveler who shared both my name and my father’s name. He even had the same job as my father, but in the USA! We stayed in touch, and when he returned to Spain, we met up again.
I was a professional athlete.

Q: What's the best time to visit Madrid?
Anytime! But I love late spring and early autumn because the weather is perfect.
Q: What do you tell your visiting friends to see in Madrid?
The must-sees are the Prado Museum, a modern or traditional restaurant like Tatema or Casa Alberto, and, of course, a fútbol game!
Q: What about the culture in Madrid should people not miss?
Don’t miss the city’s vibrant festivals, like Fiestas de la Paloma and San Isidro, or any of the flamenco festivals. El Rastro, the open-air flea market, is also a unique Madrid experience.
Q: What are some unmissable foods and drinks?
Definitely try bocata de calamares (a calamari sandwich), rosquillas (doughnuts), cocido madrileño (a hearty stew), churros with chocolate. If you’re feeling adventurous, callos (tripe soup), oreja a la brava (pig ears), entresijos or gallinejas (lamb tripe).
