Bodega Maestrazgo

We adore this beautiful old-style bodega nestled in the heart of the Born neighborhood. Filled with endless shelves of incredible wines, dusty barrels and a charm that is unrivaled. The owner is a local man who is so passionate about what he does, it’s contagious. They also serve wine from the barrel here, giving it a truly authentic feel. If you want to try something a little different, why not try their house vermouth which is one of our favorites in the city. If you’re wondering where to drink wine in Barcelona, then make sure to stop by and check out this great place.

Local’s Tip: Order a plate of delicious Iberian ham here. It’s carved by an expert and usually from a vintage year. We just love it!

Monvinic

Monvinic, literally, a world of wine in Catalan, is not just a wine bar. It’s also a restaurant, a library and an education center for all things grape-related. Revered in Europe as one of the best wine bars on the continent, the Wall Street Journal even claimed that it’s one of the best in the world. Opening a selection of 30 wines a day, it’s no surprise. Find the upscale restaurant at the back and the less-formal bar at the front. Furthermore, here you can peruse the impressive selection on a tablet.
