There exists a sort of myth that vegetarians have it tough in Spain…

Of course, all things pork do play an important role in the many different regions’ cuisines, but by no means do they dominate it, especially in such a cosmopolitan city as this one. Vegetarian restaurants in Barcelona may seem few and far between, but we have the inside scoop! Vegetarians can easily enjoy Barcelona as much as their meat-eating friends. Here is a brief and delicious vegetarian guide to Barcelona.

Our complete vegetarian guide to Barcelona will show you the best places to enjoy authentic, veggie-friendly food in the Catalan capital!

Near the Macba in the heart of the Raval neighborhood, you can find a spacious, colorful and vegan restaurant called Veggie Garden. Focusing mostly on ethnic flavors, the menu here is 100% organic and significantly varied. From the flavorful hot and cold soups to the tofu curry dishes, the portions are generous and cheap, and you can even enjoy them on the sizable terrace outside.
