Kahula Tiki Bar
Who doesn’t love a good tiki bar? This place is a favorite amongs locals and tourists alike. As the name suggests, you’ll find beautiful tropical style furnishings inside, and you feel like you’ve just stepped into Hawaii from the moment you walk inside.The smiling bartenders have been serving up some delicious and colorful drinks with flair here since 1971. You’ll even find the bartenders decked out in brightly colored floral shirts and shorts! What else would you expect from a tropical themed bar? Drinks are served up in coconuts and ornately sculptured wooden bowls. Incredible!
Local’s Tip: If you like rum, order the Escorpian—you won’t be disappointed!

El Bosc de les Fades
When it comes to unique bars in Barcelona, this place definitely hits the spot! It’s all in the name, which directly translates to the forest of fairies. And that it truly is. You are whisked away into a fantasy land upon entering this wonderful hidden gem in the city. Think snaking branches, butterflies and thunder sound effects, and you’re on your way to imagining what this bar has to offer. Enjoy an evening of wandering throughout its unique areas while sipping on some great cocktails. If you get hungry while you’re there, they even serve some tasty tapas too. This is definitely a bar to rival Narnia.

Ice Barcelona
Barcelona can get seriously hot during summer months. This is how we came across one of the most outrageous and unique bars in Barcelona. This ice bar in Barcelona is definitely an experience no visitor to the city should miss. Located directly on the beach in Barceloneta, it’s the perfect place to cool down when the heat gets too much! You are greeted at the door with warm jackets before being met with a cool -5 degrees Celsius. Order a warming drink at the ice-topped bar, and perch on the many giant blocks of ice for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.

El Paradiso
If that’s all a bit too fussy (and cold) for you, fear not! Step through the hidden door at the back of this famous pastrami bar, and you will be transported into a cocktail lover’s world of wonder! This mysterious bar is located in the beautiful El Born neighborhood and is definitely one of our favorite unique bars in Barcelona to visit. Think speak-easy with VIP flair. Guests can enjoy a tempting cocktail in this intriguing and fun bar seven days a week. Drinks are not the cheapest you’ll find in Barcelona, but the atmosphere is well worth the price!

Gatsby Barcelona
Glitter, jazz and cocktails are three of our favorite things! Therefore, this place is one of our personal favorite unique bars in Barcelona! This beautiful bar and restaurant re-creates all of the magic from the 1920s with complete Great Gatsby glitz! The venue is awash with gold furnishings and red velvet glamour. Their tagline—a little party never killed anyone— gives you a sign of what to expect! All of the bartenders are gifted at knocking up some of the most creative and exciting cocktails to hit Barcelona.
