Spain is the world’s leading producer of olive oil, and there’s no better place to buy it than right here in Seville.
Most of Spain’s olive oil comes from right here in Andalusia. Unsurprisingly, the region’s capital is full of what the Romans called “liquid gold.” Just walk right into any supermarket and take your pick from the dozens of bottles filling entire aisles—or not. While some brands available at the grocery store are of perfectly fine quality, why not support a local small business while stocking up on aceite? Here are our favorite places to buy olive oil in Seville, where you’re guaranteed to find a true gem.
Need a primer? Devour Tours co-founder Lauren is our resident expert in Spanish olive oil! In the video below, she walks you through how to spot the best olive oils, as well as how to store and use it properly at home.
