Before you jump into our two-day itinerary for Seville, consider joining one of our local experts on any of our Seville experiences! It’s the perfect way to get to know the city in a limited amount of time. Check out this video from our local experts, Jaimie and Hayley, to get an insight into what it’s like to join one of our foodie adventures.
Day One:
Morning
Breakfast: Start the day with a classic Sevillano breakfast! We recommend Bar Santa Marta (Calle Angostillo, 2), which you’ll find in a hidden plaza right in the center! If you’d like to fit in with the locals, order a toasted baguette with fresh tomato and olive oil (tostada con tomate y aceite) with juice or coffee.
Royal Palace: Next up is one of Seville’s main monuments, the Real Alcázar. On your way there, walk up Calle Tetuan to enjoy fabulous window shopping along the way. Then, continue along Avenida de la Constitución, and marvel at the beautiful buildings until you reach Plaza del Triunfo. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is where you’ll find the entrance to the Royal Palace and gardens.
Give yourself plenty of time to wander through the Alcázar’s lush gardens and centuries-old buildings before lunch!
Afternoon
Lunch: Head to the Arenal neighborhood for lunch! You could either opt for a more traditional sit-down meal or try tapas hopping—this area is ideal for both! Our favorite bars in the area include Casa Morales (Calle García de Vinuesa, 11), Bodeguita Antonio Romero (Calle Gamazo, 16) and La Taberna (Calle Gamazo, 6).
Rest: It’s time for one more Spanish indulgence! Especially if it’s summertime, treat yourself to a short siesta before heading out to enjoy your evening. Additionally, don’t forget many Spanish businesses close from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.!
Evening
Neighborhood exploring: On the other side of Seville’s iconic Isabell II Bridge is the fascinating Triana neighborhood. Rich in both history and culture, Triana is synonymous with many famous bullfighters, flamenco music, the Spanish inquisition and exquisite ceramics. In addition to all its history, you won’t want to miss the Centro de Ceramica museum (Calle San Jorge, 31) for an insider look at how these emblematic tiles are made!
Local’s Tip: Afterwards, browse the different ceramic shops on Calle Castilla for an unforgettable souvenir.
Ultimate experience: After walking through the streets of Triana, why not take your knowledge of Seville to the next level? Join one of our local experts on the perfect night out, complete with delicious tapas and front-row seats to a heart-stopping flamenco show on our Evening Tapas & Flamenco Tour! Day Two:
Morning/Afternoon
Healthy breakfast: Today the plan is to go up, down and all around the city! Wear comfortable walking shoes, and don’t skip breakfast! For a healthy bite with plenty of fresh fruit and an international feel, try Milk Away (Calle Hernando Colon 3).
Cathedral and Giralda: Next up is Seville’s famous cathedral, the third largest in the world! If you’ve only got two days in Seville, this is a must-see! A wander through the inside is spectacular, but our favorite is a trip up the Giralda tower. The tower was originally a Moorish minaret used to give the call to prayer.
Plaza de España: After taking in the beautiful views, it’s time for the next stop—Plaza de España. Board the tram at Archivo de Indias, and get off just two stops later at Prado San Sebastián. If you’re up for it, you can also walk the two kilometers to this iconic plaza.
No trip to Seville in two days would be complete without visiting its most famous plaza! Make sure to stroll to admire the beautiful tile-work before heading into Maria Luisa park for a bike ride!
Bike rental: After admiring the beautiful tiles in Plaza de España, ride a bike through the adjoining park, Parque María Luisa! Cyclotour rents bikes built for two to six people, and they’re the perfect way to visit the park in style.
Evening
Gastro tapas: Finally, it’s time to wrap up your Seville experience in style with a night on the town. Start with gastro tapas at trendy La Azotea (Calle Jesús del Gran Poder, 31 or Calle Zaragoza, 5c). Top it all off with a drink and fantastic views on the rooftop of the EME Hotel (Calle Alemanes, 27).
While it might be a bit of a whirlwind, this itinerary is the perfect plan if you’ve only got two days in Seville!
The place looks beautiful
