Foodie visiting Barcelona? Stay in a hotel that caters to one of your greatest passions—eating!

Barcelona is a foodie city. From traditional Catalan cuisine to fantastic ethnic eats, to loads upon loads of great wine, there is a bit of something for everyone. If you’re looking for hotels in Barcelona, why not narrow it down to ones that share a common interest? Food and wine are the inspirations for these top foodie hotels in Barcelona.

For the foodies in town, here are your top hotels in Barcelona--all food-related! It's one of the best parts of traveling, right? And especially food in Barcelona, because it's some of the best!

Praktik Bakery

Praktik Bakery is hands down one of our favorite foodie hotels in Barcelona, but not necessarily for the usual reasons. Sure, the decor and design are top-notch, and the location couldn’t be better. But we love this hotel, above all, for one reason, their almond croissant. Why else would we stop here on our way to the Gracia Neighborhood Food Tour?

Inspired by the original Baluard Bakery in Barceloneta, you don’t have to be a guest to enjoy their dozens of different pastries, or the steaming aroma of freshly baked bread, though that would not be a bad thing to wake up to! In our book, the best bakery in town makes it one of the best foodie hotels in Barcelona, without a doubt.

Gracia is where to stay in Barcelona if you want to live like a local! This authentic and vibrant neighborhood is full of local flair. If you are lucky enough to stay in one of the many foodie hotels in Barcelona, why not take part in the ultimate foodie day tour!

ABaC

A Michelin-starred restaurant, a luxurious spa, and beautiful surroundings atop Barcelona with fantastic views makes ABaC the perfect hotel for those looking for a bit of an escape. Venture down to Barcelona to do some sightseeing, but return to your oasis where you can relax and enjoy some of the best restaurants in town, plus many other luxury amenities. As far as foodie hotels in Barcelona go—this is a must-visit!

Cram

Cram is a great option for those on a bit more of a budget. Despite having a fantastic Michelin-starred restaurant, this futuristic hotel has affordable prices as well as a stellar location – it’s just a stone’s throw from Plaça Catalunya, right in the center of Barcelona.

Praktik Vinoteca

If wine is one of your greater passions in life, then staying at Praktik Vinoteca is the perfect place for you. Hotels in Barcelona are many, but how many of them are themed after grape juice? A welcome glass of cava, of course, plus different wine tastings and an expert sommelier on staff to boot. Cheers to a wine-inspired holiday in Barcelona! El Palace

Recently renovated and reopened in 2009, El Palace is the former Ritz hotel in Barcelona. Though the hotel has respected its 1920s elegance and charm, it is laid-back and unpretentious with a wonderful garden restaurant as well as Caelis, yet another Michelin starred restaurant serving some of the best food in Barcelona.
