Filippo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. It was an incredible experience to see the Doge’s Palace and St Mark’s Basilica. To get to see it without crowds was unbelievable, and I was able to get so much more out of it because our guide did such a great job.

Awe inspiring tour. Unforgettable tour with Romy. We learned an incredible amount in a short time, saw EVERYTHING up close in so much detail. I would highly recommend this tour as the best way to see the church.

This tour was worth every penny! Small group size in intimate setting away from the crowds. Have to call out our guide Romy, an art historian, who was excellent! Perfect amount of pertinent information delivered clearly and kindly. Wish we had more time but left feeling that all the salient points had been explained and covered.

Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Are there any breaks on this tour?
During this tour there is a short break (never more than one hour) in between visiting the Doge's Palace and entering St. Mark's Basilica.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 3 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
