Great tour of Venice highlights! Our tour guide Roberta was excellent and very passionate. She was extremely knowledgeable and always kept us on track. I liked that she explained the agenda before we began the tour. Many guides don’t and it leaves me wondering what’s next. We enjoyed the gondola ride however I think it lacked the spirit of some of the rides booked individually. I wanted to hear the “driver” sing!!!

Wonderful tour! Robbie our tour guide was amazing! She was a wonderful guide very informative and passionate ! I Would 100 percent recommend this tour! We could have listened to her for hours and hours!

There is too much on this tour to write about on here. Just do it. However, there is a lot of ground to cover and only so much time. It may seem quick paced to some. But it is worth it. Filippo was a charm! His method of delivering the details of every aspect of the tour was just perfect. Serious when need be. Then factual with a hint of humor. Why? To make you remember what he was describing/talking/showing. It was brilliant.
The Doge Palace section of the tour encompasses so many sections of history, politics and life of the area from past centuries. Filippo brings life to history. His delivery and description of all those sections keeps everything interesting.

Our guide Marco was a perfect mix of education and entertainment. The gondola was a nice break from walking. Lunch in your own broke up the day.

Does St. Mark's Basilica have a dress code?
Yes. Because it is a holy place, St. Mark's Basilica insists that both men and women wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees. They can and will refuse entry to anyone who does not meet this standard and we can't do anything about it, so come prepared.
Is lunch included on this tour?
No. But your guide is always happy to offer you plenty of recommendations for great places to eat in the vicinity that will suit any price point.
Is there much walking on this tour?
Yes, this tour does involve walking. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty and comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Is this tour accessible to guests with mobility impairments?
Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact the Guest Experience team at [email protected] to make alternative arrangements.
Can I take a bag with me into St. Mark's Basilica?
You can only take small bags into St. Mark's. Anything bigger than a purse - backpacks or luggage - is prohibited. There is no coat check either, so do not bring any large bags with you.
What's the cancellation policy for this tour?
This experience is refundable up to 7 days before your tour. Important: You must provide the following details for every guests in your party at the time of booking: first name and last name. All guests must bring ID on the day of their tour as it is required to visit the St. Mark's Basilica.
