Alberto was our wonderful chef/cooking class leader. We all had a great time including three adults and two teen boys. Made delicious Basque cheesecake, pintxos, stuffed peppers and Spanish tortilla. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great private experience with the chef for our basque cooking class. The only rec is whether you can see the menu ahead of time with a substitution available.

We had a wonderful time at our cooking class with our chef, Carlos.
We were a nice small group of 7. Carlos was engaging and entertaining.
The food we prepared and the wine we drank were wonderful.
And we all had our turn pouring cider into our glass.
My husband and I would recommend the Basque cooking class in San Sebastián and Carlos as your chef.

This cookery class is fantastic, our guide Mikel is charming and knowledgeable, it was lots of fun and we learned lots of useful tips about Basque cooking, food and beverages. Perfecto!

Can my child attend this cooking class?
Unfortunately, due to the prevalence of sharp knives, hot stoves, and high surfaces, this experience is not suitable for children under 12. Families with teenagers are welcome to join.
I use a wheelchair, can I do the cooking class?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee accommodations for wheelchairs. The kitchen has limited space and includes high tables with stools.
