What's included in this Rome to Tuscany tour?

Roundtrip private minivan from Rome, an English-speaking tour leader, one night in a 4-star Florence hotel, a guided Florence walk with skip-the-line Accademia access to see Michelangelo´s David and Florence Duomo. A guided Siena walk and cathedral tour, and a Tuscan winery tour, tasting, and lunch. It's a Rome to Tuscany package tour with the logistics handled end to end.
How do we get around during the tour?

By private minivan throughout, from your Rome pickup to the drive back at the end of day two. No trains, no public transport connections to manage.
Is the Duomo visit really skip-the-line?

Yes. Your guide leads you straight to skip-the-line entry at the Duomo, so you spend your time looking up at Brunelleschi's dome instead of waiting outside.
Which meals are included?

A three-course lunch with wine at the Tuscan winery on day one, plus a wine window tasting and Florentine steak dinner in Oltrarno that evening. Breakfast on day two is included. Day two's lunch in Florence is on your own, however, your guide is happy to recommend a spot.
What kind of hotel do we stay in?

A 4-star hotel in the heart of Florence, so after the dinner in Oltrarno you're only a short walk from your room.
Is the tour suitable for families?

Yes, it suits families with older children; tickets are available for ages 7 to 14, and the David, and the hill towns tend to hold their interest. It's a full two days, so worth weighing for younger kids.
How much walking is involved?

A fair amount across two days: city walking in Florence and Siena, and hill-town lanes in San Gimignano, with minibus transfers between. Comfortable shoes are essential.
Is the tour accessible for guests with mobility needs?

This tour is wheelchair accessible but must be notified at the time of booking for proper arrangements.
Where and when does the tour start?

Your tour leader and driver meet you at Rome Termini Station at 7:00am and you set off north in a minivan through the Roman countryside. You'll arrive back in Rome by about 9:00pm on day two.
What's the cancellation policy?

This tour can be cancelled for a full refund 30 days before the start of the tour.
