Know before you book

What's included in this Amalfi Coast overnight trip from Rome?
Roundtrip private minibus from Rome, a tour leader, one night in a 4-star Sorrento hotel, skip-the-line Pompeii with an archaeologist, a winery tour and three-course lunch with wine, a private Positano sunset cruise, a ride in a Fiat 500, a lemon-grove tasting, and ferry tickets. It's a Rome to Pompeii and Amalfi trip with the logistics handled throughout.
How long is the tour, and what's the rhythm?
Two days: Pompeii, a Vesuvius winery lunch, and Positano on day one with a night in Sorrento, then Sorrento's boutiques, Amalfi town, and a lemon grove on day two, returning to Rome by ferry and private minibus in the early evening. It's built to feel relaxed rather than rushed.
Which meals are included?
A three-course winery lunch with wine on day one, plus the lemon-grove tastings on day two. Dinners and your Amalfi lunch are your own, and your host is glad to recommend a spot.
I have dietary restrictions. Can I still join this tour?
Yes! Please let us know at time of booking so we can make any arrangements ahead of time.
How do we get around the coast?
By private minibus from Rome and between inland stops, and by ferry along the coast between Amalfi and Salerno. Ferry tickets are included.
Is the tour accessible for guests with mobility needs?
We want everyone to enjoy the coast. Pompeii has uneven ancient surfaces, the coastal towns are steep with steps, and there are boat boardings, so access is limited in places; contact our Guest Experience team before booking and we'll advise.
What should I bring, and what about Pompeii ID?
Comfortable shoes, swimwear if you fancy a dip in Amalfi, and sun protection. Pompeii requires guests to carry ID matching the booking name, so bring a passport or government ID; we'll confirm the exact requirements when you book.
Where does the tour start?
Outside the McDonald's at Piazzale Flaminio 15, near Piazza del Popolo and the Flaminio metro stop. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.
What's the cancellation policy?
This tour can be cancelled for a full refund 30 days before the start of the tour.
