We only had one full day in Rome and we wanted to see as much as possible while also learning about the history of these iconic places and landmarks-otherwise they just become postcards of places you saw without any relevance. I will admit that this was an exhausting, long day but so very worthwhile, plus you get your steps in and meet interesting people in your group! Our guide, Maria Theresa, was fantastic! She was passionate and extremely knowledgeable but also very aware of our group dynamic-when we needed a break, when to move on. Rome is incredible and big - this was the perfect way to see it all. With the long lines for entrances to many places we never could have done what we were able to accomplish and we highly recommend this tour!

Lisa, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the sites. She kept a good pace but was also very caring about the group. The sites were great. The only downside was that after the Vatican museum we did not go back to the pickup point but had to find our own way back.

Our family of five took the Rome in a Day tour with Marco. It was the best money ever spent, as we learned so much in only 7.5 hours. My 17 year old commented that she learned more in one day than she learned in an entire year taking World History!
Marco was so knowledgeable and patient answering all of our many questions. He told us so many interesting facts and legends of Ancient Rome that we would have never known without this experience. If I could give this tour and guide ten stars, I would.

What is the dress code for the Vatican?
Access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel is permitted only to visitors dressed modestly (no sleeveless blouses, no miniskirts, no shorts, no hats allowed). All guests regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees.
What happens if my name doesn’t match my ID?
It's very important that you provide your full name exactly as it matches your ID at time of booking. If the name on your ticket does not match your ID, security may deny entry and sadly there's nothing we can do. Refunds will not be provided.
