The Venice: Eat & Drink Like a Local – Evening Cicchetti Tour was a fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our time in Venice. Anna was a wonderful guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Venetian food and culture. She took us to local spots that we would never have found on our own and shared interesting stories about the city’s culinary traditions along the way. The food and drink selections were excellent. We enjoyed a variety of delicious cicchetti, traditional pasta, cold cuts, and gelato, along with a classic Venetian spritz, Prosecco, and local wines. Everything was thoughtfully chosen and gave us a true taste of Venice. Beyond the food, the tour provided a great introduction to local life and the neighborhoods of Venice. Anna made everyone feel welcome, and the evening was relaxed, informative, and a lot of fun. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Venice through its food, wine, and local culture. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Know before you book

Is this a private tour?
Yes! This is a fully private Venice food and wine tour with your own expert guide, tailored to your interests.
How much food is included?
A full meal! You’ll enjoy cheese, street bites, wine, beer, pasta, dessert, and more. This isn’t just a tasting tour—it’s dinner, Neapolitan style.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We can accommodate vegetarians and non-drinkers. Due to the nature of Roman street food, gluten-free options are limited.
Why choose a private Venice food tour?
Because Venice is best explored with someone who knows where to find the real flavors—away from the crowds and into the spots locals love.
What are cicchetti?
Cicchetti are Venice’s answer to tapas: small, flavorful bites served in traditional bars across the city. Think creamy baccalà mantecato, sweet-and-sour sarde in saor, fried snacks, and more—perfect alongside a glass of local wine.
What makes this different from other Venice food tours?
This isn’t just a tasting tour. It’s a chance to experience Venice’s food culture from the inside out, guided by someone who knows the stories behind every bite.
What is the cancellation policy for private food tours?
Private food tours may be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the tour date. Thank you for understanding.
Can I customize the route or food stops on a private tour?
Our routes and tastings are thoughtfully planned in advance. Each stop has been chosen for its craft, character, and place in the neighborhood’s daily life. Keeping the route intact allows the experience to unfold smoothly without rushing or waiting. That way you can simply arrive and enjoy a table, seat, or bite waiting just for you. While the route itself stays the same, the rhythm is yours. Your guide adjusts the pace to suit your group.
