Marla was an amazing guide! Interesting, helpful theatre and dining tips. Funny commentary as well! My kids are 18 and 21 so I wasn’t worried about losing them, but Marla always counted our group before moving on. And she was fantastic at when and where to meet for the next step of the tour! Highly recommend her!

Our guide, Sara, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable about the sites, different parts of NYC, and its history. She was also very friendly and attentive, making sure no one was left behind. I highly recommend.<br /><br />The only thing I was unaware of was that the tour time didn't include seeing interior of Ellis Island, which tacked on some additional time.

What can I expect at the security checkpoint for my Statue of Liberty tour?
All guests must pass through airport-style security to go to the Statue of Liberty. Certain items are not permitted including any weapons, scissors, pocket knives, any sharp item, or tools. Large items such as suitcases and backpacks are not allowed. Food and drink are not permitted except water in a clear container.

Does this tour include access to the Statue Crown?
No. Unfortunately, tickets for the Statue of Liberty Crown are extremely limited, at only 365 per day, and sell out months in advance. Walks does not provide any tours that include the Statue of Liberty Crown.
Can I bring a backpack on my Statue of Liberty tour?
At Liberty Island handbags and backpacks must be stored in a locker. Lockers are $2.00.
